Twilight

Saw the movie today - lets just say I hope that Bella gets some acting lessons before the next movie. And I almost died laghing when the part came that Edward showed his skin - ohh man that was pathetic. It was an OK movie - not my favorite I really think they could have done better on it. And the casting could have been better. Again lets hope acting classes are taken before the next movie. Glad I only paid 5.50 for it. Ohh and there was WAY To much music in this movie. Everytime there wasn't talking (alot) I felt like I was in a elevator - it was music overload! Thoughts?

LA (long post)

Yeah so we have been home for a week and I still haven't blogged about our trip to LA - sue me!!
Well we went to LA last weekend it was our 5 year annivesary so I thought we should do something fun - and I wanted to see Wicked so bad so that's the real reason we went to LA, everything else was just fluff.
Yep we went to see Wicked - TWICE that is how our trip to LA started. We flew in Wednesday night (the 19th) got to our hotel, it was pretty late by the time we got there - about 11 so we just hung out and crashed. Thursday Morning, slept in, and went straight to the Pantages - I was so excited!
once we got there we had to see it - but we had a few hours to spare till the Lottery. So we headed over to the Grove. It's a huge shopping center outdoors. So we hopped on the bus and headed over there. We just walked around.

Gotta love American Girl, have always wanted to go to one, always wanted a Samantha doll I was sad to hear that they were discontinuing here :( Then there was the CBS studios - WOOT. at the Grove they had this huge farmers market with endless supply of any kind of food you wanted to eat. So Kelly had to try some -YUM!
So while shoppping at the Grove look who also shops there: YAH I saw a celabrity!! I LOVE LOVE Gilmore Girls so this was a huge treat that I ran into (okay stalked) Liza Wells aka Paris.
rest of the day:

Ending the day off with:
LOVED IT!!!

Friday
We decided to get up and go to Universal Stuidos - It was a pretty fun place, no Disneyland but we had a great time.

FUN DAY!!!
Saturday (our anniversary)
Honestly it started out as a very crapy day. We really didn't know what we wanted to do, we were both so indecisive that we couldn't make our minds up. And we spent most of the day doing nothing but arguing. It was very frustrating. So we decided to go get something to eat then run over to do the Wicked lottery once more and if we don't win then go see Wicked anyway. Before we ate we stopped at the Chinese theater where all the handprints in the cement are - pretty neat. Saw Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, the cast of Harry Potter, Marilyn Monroe - see for yourself:
Then we headed back to the Pantages to get in the lottery. So for those of you who don't know the you put your name in a drawing for front row tickets for $25, you go 2.5 hours before the show starts, then 2 hours before the show starts they pick 13 names and they give you this cool button and then you can buy front row tickets. Well...
YEP IT WAS THE GREATEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!! WE got front row seats. And let me tell you it was AMAZING. I mean the play itself is amazing but front row was more spectacular. We could see their spit, the sweat, the microphones taped to their head. I was so happy I was in tears!!! I love this musical more than anything!! I don't want to spoil it for anyone but Defying Gravity was my ALL time favorite song! Simply Amazing!! It was a great anniversary present - glad I won! We jumped for joy!
Then we got to meet the cast after the show - SO FUN!!

Sunday we were pretty exhausted so we took a trip to Beverly Hills
We had to go get Sprinkles cupcakes - YUM. But check out the street lamps on Rodeo drive!! SERIOUSLY!! We had so much fun - what a great trip!

NKOTB - continued

Okay so my last post it was making me angry becasue the font started to get REALLY big and it wouldn't go smaller - so I am finishing the post on a new post - take that stupid blog!!!!

So Lady Ga Ga and Natasha Bedingfield opened for NKOTB. This is the best one I had of Lady Ga Ga

So yeah check back soon and I'll have a HUGE slideshow of more UP CLOSE, BETTER photos of the concert when I get them from my sister. And really it's okay if you're a NKOTB fan - let me know if you are!

This is random but after this concert I decided I really really really am in desperate need of a good QUALITY camera and so I am asking for your help and suggestions on what I should get. I don't need anything SUPER fancy, but something NICE, that will take decent photos at night, or in dark places (like NKOTB concerts) but something also I can stick in my purse so I can carry it with me wherever I go - because I do take my camera with me wherever I go. So I need your help - HELP ME FIND A CAMERA!!! Suggestions anyone?

NKOTB

Can you read what that says??? Ohh well these are my 6 FREE tickets to New Kids on the Block in concert so take that!!! Okay there were practically free I had to pay the service charge for them, so they came out to be $1.60 per ticket, and we sat on the floor!!!!! How did this happen you ask? Well my wonderful gracious beautiful friend Whitney who I work with got an email from her sorority saying she was entitled to 6 free tickets, well she couldn't go so she called me up - so I called my sisters up and there were totally on board, so I took them. AND WE HAD A BLAST!!!!

Well the sad news of this wonderful story is that when I got to the concert, my batteries died in my camera - well I always bring a spare; well those were dead to!! So the only pictures I have are from my camera phone so they kind of suck, BUT the good news is my sister had her camera but I have yet to get them from her - ohh but I know you are all super jealous that I went so I will post those pictures as soon as I have them!! But here are just a few that I got from my camera before it died, and what my camera phone took (they are terrible beware)

So these are from my phone - but you can see the stage (we were on the floor but 55 rows, back) who cares they were $1.60. The ones with the piano they rotated on this platform for a few songs, they were like FEET away from us, that was pretty fun I wont lie!! And then someone threw a shirt on the "stage" that said I <3> mormon girls
So this is all of us before the concert - it happened to also be my Aunt Jo's birthday (far left) who wouldn't love going to NKOTB for their birthday?
And look who is a fan of NKOTB

Halloween

Okay so it's November 5th and I am just getting our halloween pictures up - so what!!!

So we had so much fun! We started the night off at home giving candy to the neighborhood kids, but that didn't last long we have a huge population of children in our neighborhood so we ran out of candy quickly.
Let me tell you trying to answer the door with 3 very excited dogs, now thats a challenge. But their were so many cute kids and their costumes were fun. So after we ran out of candy we headed over to our friends house Eric and Tiff's for a stompin good Halloween party.

Kelly didn't want to dress up but I said he wasn't allowed into the party without a costume. He was frantically searching for anything he could pull off for a costume when I saw his little tennis racket game he has. I told him to go as a tennis player - but a girl Tennis player - even better Anna Kornaporna (yes yes her real name is Anna Kournikova but I like the name I gave her better, Kelly hates it she thinks she is HOT!!) so I made him put my tennis skirt on and he put this tank top I made on and went to the party. Everyone complimented him on his legs. I did have a picture of this wonderful outfit but it seems to magically dissappear off my camera - I'm not pointing any fingers (Kelly) but its gone. So when I find someone that took a picture of it I will post it - until then use your imagination. Well I went as Felicity Shagwell from Austin Powers. I had a friend who told me once I looked liked her and then my sister had this 70's costume - so it went well together. So enjoy the pictures!
