I want to join your clan

If only I was Scottish. My mom and I tried to get adopted into a Scottish clan this past weekend at the Scottish Festival at Thanksgiving point but we had very little luck, no I take that back A very nice man from the Kennedy Clan wanted to adopted us in. He said they would take anyone. hmm should be have been offended? WHO CARES!!!!!
Yep my mom and I braved the storms and went to Thanksgiving point and watched all the Scottish had to offer. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!
Something about thos bagpipes that once they start playing you just want to cry - the emotion it brings with it is ASWESOME!!! We watched them throw rocks, and sheep, and poles, and weights, weights with poles on the, and weights with chains on them. We ate their delicious meat pies, and their delicous strawberries and scones, we drank cream soda from the coolest bottles. We stalked old men for mom to take pictures of. The best part of the day was when they were having the bagpipe competition and it started to sprinkle a little while a group was playing. Then the next group lined up to play and it started to POUR so they ran under the tent we were sitting in, then the wind started to blow and it got them all wet. Then we were getting all wet and Mom and I just laughed and laughed and laughed. Not sure what was so funny but we laughed; we were having a great time. Oh how I wish I was scottish. If either of us win the trip to Scotland - oh we will be adopted for sure!!!
So here are the highlights of our day (some of them)

Truly a gifted talent these people, I love the bagpipes!

The most delicious meat pies EVER and with a little HP sauce YUMMY!! IF anyone is going to Europe in the near future you MUST bring me back HP SAUCE!!!!
So Next year everyone has to go to this, it was a Blast!!!

Lagoon

Okay so I am so bad at this blogging thing, but I had to post this picture becasue it makes me laugh so much. Two saturdays ago my sister asked me to be her date to Lagoon for her company party, her husband had to work that day so we went and had the best time ever!!!! I like Lagoon, but I love rides, I love the thrill and excitement. My new favorite ride is:

SKYCOASTER!!!

It was so much fun!! Now I am so afraid of falling, not afraid of heights, I can stand on cliffs and things but then I imagine myself falling and I freak out - specially when I have to jump, or in this case pull the cord. Well I didn't have to pull the cord I was in the middle. But the entire way they pulled me up there I was yelling bad things to Jnet because she didn't come up with me, she went with her boss and his wife, I ended up going up with my nephew and my little sister. I was so freaking scared out of my life!!!!!! As they are pulling you up to the heighest point ever and knowing you are going to have to fall - FREAKED ME OUT!!!!! Then all of a sudden you stop and they count down and you are supposed to pull the cord and fly. Well I am the type that I just have to do it fast or I wont do it at all - well I really didn't have a choice at this moment I had to fall no other way down. So as soon as they gave us the green to go I was yelling just pull the cord pull it!! Then we fell - OHH THE FUN!!!!! It was amazing, you can't feel anything on you, none of the belts, the straps or anything you are just falling. It was so much fun I could have done that over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Can you tell I liked it!!! Try it, you will love it!!!
One funny story that happened, we were in the line for the ride the BAT (super scary ride, don't ride it) it was the LAMEST ride in the entire world, not even worth the wait in line. So we were next up in line to ride this AWESOME ride and this lady who was in front of us the entire time obviously just got on the ride with her little boy, well he didn't want to be there. He was trying to jump the fence while in line but she was forcing him to ride it. So when she put him in the seat, he started to FREAK out. He was screaming and trying to get out of the seat, lifting up the bar that went over his head yelling things like "don't start the ride, get me off of this" I mean screaming and kicking. She was forcing him to ride this ride. Well you can't start the ride till all lap bars are down and this kid was trying to get out of his. The employees didn't know what to do, they even had to call the manager and talk this lady. I mean this went on for like 15 min, no kidding. Not that the line was long enough she had to waste 15 min of forcing the kid to ride it. In the end the kid won and he didn't have to ride it. But really RIDICULOUS!!!! Some things you can fight your kids on, but I think there has to be a point when you just say fine - don't you think?
The other thing I wanted to post was this:

HA HA. It kind of a sur of the moment thing. We went to those old time picture places and got this done!!! LOVE IT!!!! it looks even better in sepia.
