Handy Manny says: Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACK - 2 years old, how time flies!

Just a few highlights of the party!

He loved to hit the pinata!!! Way to go!

Jeanette and Jenn did a great job on the cake. Jenn the decorations looked FABULOUS as well

This was the final life of the pinata - Tyler destroyed it - or he just broke it off the string and Bob had to finish breaking it. Good job Tyler way to safe the day!!

Penelopes Room

Well after much waiting I have it done (well almost a few minor details to complete) But here is the finished product!

TA-DA!!

My friend Abbey hand painted that flower on the wall!! I loved it from the moment it was up there. Just what I wanted. Kelly did a great job on all the walls, he worked so hard on them and they turned out Fabulous. Thanks Kelly!

I was feeling so left out by not being able to help paint - so here is my project for her room.

This is the bedding, My Mom and I made the bumpers. They are my favorite and I think they turend out to be SO CUTE!! I couldn't be more happy with them if I wanted to. It took months and month to find everything we needed. Once I found out it was a girl i set out to find colors. My mom and I shopped for 6 hours for different material and we found this idea at Garnder Village. So I was put to work. I worked on the size of birds I wanted and I cut them all out. Findidng the dotted material was SO HARD. I couldn't find the size of dots I wanted. Finally after like 3 months of searching I called Material Girls in SJ and had my sister Jeanette go look the dots and see if they were big enough. From her descriptiont they sounded right. I cruised over there and sure enough PERFECT. Ohh man see paitence does pay off. My mom and I finished them in about 2 days - it was so much fun. And my mom made a skirt and we made the cutest valance to match it. What do you think?

Here is the valance we made as well. The strips is what the skirt is made out of and then we have the matching green dots. I tried not to make it so much pink in the room and this very much off sets everything but brings it all together. LOVE IT I must say!

My cute mom finshing the last bumper!! LOVE YOU MOM thank you so much for your wonderful talent and helping me design these bumpers. I am so excited and know she will love them!

Finishing the bumpers ont he crib. You can't see the skirt but its the same as the valance - thats what started the entire process. I love it!!

And I had to throw sock monkey in there. This was a gift from my brother and his girlfriend Lydia. I love this sock monkey he is my favorite thing!! Don't you just want to carry him everywhere. he he he makes me smile.

Well that is her room we still have some shelves to put up and places to find homes for things but we are ready for her to be here. We couldn't be more excited and feel so blessed that she wants to be part of our family. We are anxious and nervous. I don't know how anxious she is she is pretty cozy in there - one day she will make her grand entrance. We will be ready and waiting.

Show off

I just had to show off what Kelly has been working on for weeks and weeks - really when he gets somet time off he is trying to make out yard look nice. Don't mind the DEAD grass in some parts we don't know why it dies there every year - we think we found the problem - GRAVEL!!! Who puts gravel under grass?

He cut the lawn and put edging all along the flowerbeds to give it that definition it was in need of. He even fixed the rock wall I fell down this past October!

The edging on the side of the house. He had to cut alot of the grass out - it was growing right up to the flowers themselves. It looks so nice. Just need to get mor bark. But it looks 100 x's better!!

And just a simple fix to some ugly rocks that were there as a walking path. Looking good Kelly!! Thanks for all your hard work and always working in the yard - I try to help as much as I can (and when youre not yelling at me for helping) But it looks amazing so thank you - always love to show off your hard work sorry I don't do it more.
