1 month

She is already a month old, wow how time flies. Yes I have a minute to write today - but of course the moment I do she starts fushing. Ohh the joys huh. Seriously is a life changing event. My life is not the same anymore - she now runs the show!! I guess I never imagined how much a difference she would be in my life! It's been fun but also a challenge. From the moment she came in this world its been a challenge.
Just a quick story of what happened at her birth. My water broke at 6:15 in the morning on the 17th - well I guess more like leaking. By 8:30 a.m. it had broken - and I was at a golf tournament for work. So I woke kelly up to have him meet me at the hospital. Well when we got there they have to do test to make sure that you really did break your water. Well after 2 test I was sent home with them telling me that it was my water - just fluid. Well I got home and I was soaked to the bone - so back to the hospital. Well it turned out it was my water that broke -t here is soemthing in my body that doesn't register on those test. Good to know. Well by midnight that night after a lot of potossium (spelling????) and a epidural to loosen my body up I was only dialated to a 3... so I ended up having a C-section. And Kairi was born at 1:21. Thats the short version!!
Well this past month we have been busy with getting used to Kairi and her getting used to us. We have had a lot of first this month so here are just a few!

1st bath till my Cord falls out!

1st bath in tub!! 8/6/2010

One month old and first long car ride to Cedar City! Only had to stop once on the way down to eat. Way home had to stop twice and got tired of the car quick!

Meeting new family in Cedar! Grandpa John and Cousin Sydnee

Some other first she did: She has officially rolled over from her stomach to her back at 2 weeks. We thought it was a fluke at first but she has done it multiple time since then.

She is growing fast and a lot of fun (and screaming right now - they do that alot)

She is so adorable!!!

On Eat, Pray, Love (the movie) there is a line in there that says something like this: having a kid is like getting a tattoo on your face - you have to be committed to do it! And it's SO true! Being a mom is the hardest thing ever, so just hang in there. It is so worth it, though. But life is no longer about you. Your life totally revolves around this little person. Good thing they are cute and innocent when they come to us!
