Yep went to another game, this time it was with my friend Mary from work - we had the time of our life!!! It was so much fun, we laughed, we cheered really loud, we had so much fun. I am going to like going to these soccer games - and if you haven't been the new Stadium is OSM!!!

Ohh and they won, 2-1 OH YEAH!! hopefully they make it to the playoffs so we can go to more games again this year! GO REAL!!

Tumbleweed

Look at this HUGE tumbleweed

So I walked out my front door and was going to cut to through the backyard to get to my neighbors house so we could ride together to Volleyball. Well I see this HUGE tumbleweed, but it was dark and spooky looking so I didn't dare move it - so I went around the block to her house. Now in my defense it is Halloween, it was dark and Kelly is at work - I wasn't about to get near the thing!! Really it was HUGE - don't believe me check this out ----
Um yeah that is one HUGE tumbleweed.
Ha HA check out those knee pads at my ankles - so hot I know!!! I know I said it already but thats a HUGE tumbleweed!!

REAL Salt Lake

Last night we had the great opportunity to go to the FIRST official home game of Real Salt Lake in the new Rio Tinto Stadium with our great friends Wendy, Nate and their little guy Korver.

It was kind of weird being there since I practically grew up right where the stadium stands today. My sister Jnet managed an RV Park and lived in a house there, I worked my summers there while I was in HS and lived there when I came home for the summmers from college. I learned how to drive there, I drove golf carts all over there, we played with snakes there, (okay everyone else did I hated them) had school dance dates there, family holidays were held there; it was home. So being there had a different meaning - but it was so much fun. And the stadium is a good addition - I had a lot of fun!!

Who knows maybe the stadium will bring just as many memories as the RV Park did? I am excited to attend more games - who wants to go? - Deanna

Body World

So we had a family outing this weekend this is the coolest exhibit I have seen in a long time. I really didn't know what to expect but WOW it was incredible. Its Body World and you can see it at The Leonardo downtown. You aren't allowed to take pictures inside so I snapped this from the outside with my cell phone.

So this guy gets the bodies and puts this plastic on them and then protrays them doing things. This exhibit was a sports theme.
http://theleonardo.org/bodyworlds/index.php Here check out the website. Here is an example of what we saw:
This is the Javaline Thrower - pretty amazing huh!!
That is a real body, with real muscles, real bones. He cuts certain parts open so you can see inside the body, see the joints, the tendants, so you can see how your body works.
They had a human heart there they showed all the veins, the valves, how it works. They had a head there but they had taken all the bones out, all the brains out, and left just the veins - it was so weird, hard to describe how amazing it was. The only part that wigged me out was the baby section. They had these 12 tubes standing there and each tube had a baby in it, in different week stages. It was so hard kind of to see these babies, they really are the size of a bean, and you could see the toes, the finger, the eyes - how could anyone think that these babies aren't alive and have abortions? It was so sad - They were actual babies. They also had babies that were well into their 16 weeks, 21 weeks, 32 weeks and more - so weird!! But it was fasinating!
If you get the chance to see thise exhibit, check it out it will be well worth it. We spend 3 hours there and could have spent many more hours there. AMAZING
