I love to pick on Router it's so funny!!! This is just a picture of one of the many times. While we were in Omaha we picked up this monkey at the Omaha Zoo and he loves it. It makes monkey noises when you squish it and he always comes a runnin' when he hears it. (thats how I get him to come in the house when he is outside, it works great.) I do this to all his stuffed animals; I put them in his collar and then he rolls around on the floor till he can get them out. It took him everything just to hold still to take this picture, and you can see how excited he was about it.
And people ask why I don't have kids, I would just pick on them - good times good times!!! Yes this is the kind of entertainment we have in the Hoyle household.

FREE
He has a hard couple of days, he has been stressed, you would to if you had your toe cut off (almost) and this creepy po po came to your house and threaten to take you away, then have the ones you love abandon you for days and being stuck in the bathroom with the only hope of survival when Wendy and Korver come over for your daily walks... you would be stressed too!!!
But we finally got home from our vacation yesterday (mine was 2 weeks... ahhhhhh, I'll post about it later when I sort through the mess in my house) and Router was so excited to be home he ran around the house like a crazy dog (not crazy as in Rabid crazy, but excited crazy- now that I think of it I think I was running around the house all crazy like) and we brought him a monkey home from the Omaha Zoo (don't judge us) and he LOVED IT!!! It makes monkey noises when you push his belly and I was laughing all last night because at random times I would hear monkey noises go off in the other room. He is so funny, I think he was feeling the FREEDOM!!!

Couldn't help myself
Race for Rabid Router
Well according to PetSmart my dog just might have rabies and has been put on house arrest for 10 days! LOL I have to laugh because this is so ridiculous!!! So this is how it went down:
Kelly took Router to PetSmart in AF to have his nails clipped, its $7. Router HATES to have his nails clipped HATES IT. So when we go get it done he has to be muzzled and we have to hold him really tight, and even then it's a fight to get them done. So Kelly told the girl this so she was looking for one his size, she couldn't so she said she would just cut them without it. Well not really surprised but he didn't like it one bit and fought it as much as he could. They were about done with all his nails when she cut a little to short and cut the vain and he started to bleed. Well I can only imagine that it hurts alot to have that vein cut and have blood pouring out of your little paw. He started to cry and squirm and wanted to get out of there like any dog would do. The girl was trying to find the powder to put on it to make it stop bleeding, so another girl grabbed router (while she was on the phone) and Router was still scared out of his mind, so Kelly took him from the girl to calm him. The original girl found the powder and went to grab his paw and Router bit her. Kelly made sure she was okay, she said she was and that it happened all the time. He apologized and everything and went on his way. Very tramatic indeed!!
Well then a few hours later Kelly gets this message on his phone from a Police Officer looking for the owner of the dog that bit an employee at PetSmart this afternoon and to call him if he knew anything. So Kelly called him back and said yeah it was my dog. The office then tells Kelly that he is on his way to the house to come take Router away and put him in the pound because he might have rabies. So Kelly calls me at work (it's 7:30 by the way) freaking out and all distraught because his dog is going to be taken away and he needs to have proof that he has all his shots. So the police officer comes over and tells Kelly he doesn't have to take the dog but that the dog is on house arrest for 10 days and can't leave the yard, and if he leaves the house he has to be on a leash at all times, and after the 10 days we have to get a checkup from our vet and get all his shots again as a precaution and then have the vet provide a letter stating the dog is healthy. Again Kelly calls me freaking out because in 10 days we will be in Omaha visitng my friend and that now he can't go because he has to be with the dog. Ohh the drama! But the dog is home, he is sound asleep in his little couch right now in the bathroom and we have to find out what we are going to do. A simple nail trimming is going to end up costing us $200 for all the vet fees to prove that my dog doens't have Rabies. So tomorrow starting at my house we are going to have a 5K - Race for Rabies!! Come one come all!! You're going to have to run around my house because Router isn't allowed to leave the yard.... sorry. I wonder how many times you would have to run around my house to get 3.1 miles.... I think I would get dizzy before I would find out.
So if you want to come visit the jailbird dog he will be home for 10 days. And the saying rings true, when it rains it pours... Kelly's mom is sick again, and his brother cut off his thumb. Rain rain go away!
really and I have to get him tested? This is just as bad as when my brother mooned his friends adn had to get an aids test. What a sad world we live in.
