$23

Yeah I got all this food for $23!!! COOL HUH!!

Well let me tell you how I got this. Well it's a food co-op and it's AWESOME!! You probably know how it works but let me tell you anyway. So they have different shares of food you can order, so you place your orde with them either by mail, telephone or fax, then you pick up your food on the designated pickup date and enjoy. The only thing you ask is that you do service to take part in this program. Anything counts towards service as long as it is not in your family. check out the website: http://www.crossroads-u-c.org/cfc/index.html

I ordered the standard share last month and then added on the nutty guys sampler to my order for $11.50. But still it's a great way to get your food storage either started or at least add on to it. I don't eat the meat portion of it but Kelly will eat it and its already packaged and ready to go, and it's things I normally wouldn't buy so he gets a variety of meat.
Next month you can order in the Standard share (for $23) is:

2 8oz. Top Sirloin Steaks 3 varieties of fresh fruit
4 5oz. Pork Chops 5 varieties of fresh vegetables
2 lbs. Chicken leg adn Thighs Stone Ground's Artisan Wheat Bread
1 lbs. Lean Ground Beef 16 oz. Rice

The Half share ($14) you get:
1 lb Lean Ground beef 4 varieties of fresh vegetables
4 5oz. Pork Chops Stone Ground's Artisan Wheat Bread
3 varieties of fresh fruit 16 oz. Rice

and there are so many things you can add on to your order, and you can order as many of the shares as you want, they also have a Extra Standard Meat-only ($13) so you can get extra meat!
I have practially eaten all my nuts, the bread is so delicious, its soft!! I haven't had the fruit but it looks good. I am super excited about my artichokes this month I love them but never buy them because they tend to be expensive. I was super excited about the red potatoes, those are SO expensive in the store.
There is a play right here in Eagle Mountain where you pick up all your food, and for those that don't live in EM, there is are so many other pick-up locations.
I think it's an awesome thing so far. And the more people who get involved the cheaper the food becomes! Let me know if you have any questions on it, I'm super excited about it. The food order deadline is March 13 and you get to pick up your food on March 28th. YUMMY FOOD!

Jazz Game

Late Christmas present for Kelly. No I just got him tickets for the Jazz game for Christmas but the game wasn't till Feb. It was the gift that kept on giving. We had a fun time and that is all that mattered.

With Kelly's tickets he got a gift card to Fanzz he was supposed to buy him a shirt for him to wear to the Jazz game but he always buys me present. I really think he is trying to buy my love! So he bought me a pink jersey to wear to the game - yeah baby I love pink!!

Draper Temple

Yep we got to go to the Draper Temple open house on Saturday with my family and some friends, pretty good Valentine's Day present. It was so pretty! I love to go through the open houses, but also so blessed that I can go through the temple after they are dedicated. I have such a strong testimony about Temples and look forward to going everytime I do. So I am very thankful that we have temples so close to us, I need to take advantage of that more. And I know the things that go on in the temples are sacred and that if we live worthy we will recieve those blessings. What a great blessing that is in my life, to know that my family will live together forever because of the choices that Kelly and I made in the temple 5 years ago. WOW 5 years, that seems like yesterday sometimes.
(pictures aren't adding to my blog right now - booooooooo)

I have some other stuff to post on things going on with us, but for the life of me I can't seem to find my camera anywhere it grew legs and walked off. So when I find it I'll post more pictures of the Jazz game we went to.

Loathing

Something about this picture is very soothing. If any of you are like me I am so over winter and I am ready to bring SPRING ON!!! 6 more weeks of winter, that doesn't seem to long does it? Not soon enough in my book, I don't know what it is about this year but I have not been in the winter mood! I have only been skiing twice this year, where last year we went every weekend. I don't think I have even played in the snow this year, and shoveling the snow is not my type of playing. I just frown upon everything winter this year. Router hates to go outside because it's so cold outside and that makes bathroom breaks a little harder. He is such a sissy when it coems to the cold actually it makes me laugh. Because as soon as he is "finished" outside he runs right to the heating vent and stares at you with this look on his face like he is saying: "I'm so cold, ohh so cold, maybe if I sit by this warm heat vent it MIGHT come on" I just have to laugh at him then cuddle him.
I think the only thing winter had going for itself this year was that I got to wear my super cute coats, and I love to wear them! But really I am so over it, I am ready for the warm sunshine, ready to get my daily dose of vitamin D, so bring on the spring time Mr. Groundhog I'm ready for it.

Maybe I should have a better attitude about winter. But as I was driving to my sisters house for the Superbowl I stopped at a light and was looking around at my surroundings and was gazing at the trees (I notice them now because they are making redwood wider and tore down a whole bunch of trees) and I thought to myself wow that big group of trees are going to look so pretty when it's Spring time again and they are all green. Winter is just an ugly time of year, well except when it just snowed - then I think its so pretty and peacful.

So again I say BRING ON SPRING!! Awww I am a very impaitent person I don't think mother nature realizes that.
